made it run richer 
ya I thought ablout putting a 3.0l temp sensor on it but the sensor drives the gauge as well as sends a signal to the ECU so I dont think the ECU would be very fond of a different ohm range coming in for coolant temp.... I am about ready to just go buy some autometer gauges and say to hell with the stockers!
There are two coolant temp sensors, one for the guage one for the ecu.
