yeah i was thinking of putting in a 3.4 but not shure if i should because i still want it to pass smog man do you know if it will still pass with the 3.4 in it if i go that way??.. as for the tranny not to shure i seen people on here running duel cases not shure if thats good but sounds like something i might want to look in to also just so you know this is my first toyota and first lifted truck im keeping my fingers crossed and hopeing i can make a killer family and fun runner if you have any sugestions or know about the motor thing hit me up
 

Hey when my 3.0 goes i really want to swap in a 3.4.  They are great motors IMO.

As far as passing smog you will have to go see a smog referee, but yes, if it is done correctly you can pass smog in california.
