Dude, Glen's completely right on this. The G code doesn't designate whether or not it's a v6 or turbo axle, all it means, and I mean ALL it means is that it's an 8" gear set. G=8", 29=4.10 gears and the 2=open diff. If you find one ending in an odd number it has the factory limited slip. If you need to know what gears are in a stock truck(or car) gimme the code and I'll tell ya what gears it has. Trust me on this one, I know, plus if I don't I call my brother who works at a Toyota parts dept. and ask him. Nate
