the fire road that we drove up on was flat
the runner is locked at both ends a shovel strong back and some help from a winch the traction was incredible!
Looks like you had fun, one question, where was everyone else? You know it's not wise to wheel alone. 
We had a group from our club go towards Chilkoot. Same area above Oakhurst, Ca. for those of you that don't know.
