my dad is the same way...... he loves to tell me about how he seen Jimi, Janis, Doors, Zeppelin, etc, etc... i'm sure i will be to once i'm older.

Dang almost reads like my list well except for Jimi and Janis I was a little young for the hippie's. But I did get rolling on concert attendance when I was 14 in the early 70's. The really cool thing was (and you will be too young for this) the High School I went to was right across the street of the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. There used to be a program on ABC TV, they'd get top bands in, record them for TV on Saturday nights. I got to see a lot of the headline bands back then for free. It was awesome since they timed the taping for after school just for that reason.
