toyhatsu, my oilpan had that same hole. when i bought it , it came with this little flat cover piece thing with some like funky , wierd wax green center. even the parts guy at toyota didnt know what it was for. im glad you brought up the dipstick tube question becuase that made me think about mine. i did wonder if i switched the pan around if it would read the same.
anyway, my trucks been home for about 3 weeks now and i havent even touched it yet. by the time i get home every night its dark so it sucks. plus my old lady is about 5 1/2 weeks pregnant so she gets most of the attention right now. i need some wiring diagrams before i can do anything right now.
