I took mine off...been driving with out one for 3 months now....drove in the rain and No problems....brakes work better

I hope you don't find out the hard way, but if you hit the brakes hard when moving you won't like the results.
                                                                                                                                                        I run 35's and when I just tied it up and would get on the brakes hard the rears would lock up ever time. So I fabed up one like the one above and adjusted it so the rears would not lock up, works great.
