My truck just lost spark yesterday. I checked the ground, voltage, plugs and wires, coild, resistance between the two wires for the distributor and think that it is the ignitor assesembly. Which is the device that gets 12vdc and is the mounting location for the coil. Now if I'm reading this right which I really hope I am then instead of paying the 270.00 retail price for a new one I can use a chevy part? Thanks ahead of time!
