Now that I think about it, guys that run 3 cases have the ability to load that rear case in a similar fashion. I haven't heard of input shaft failures from Marlin or BigMike, but I supose they probably wouldn't advertise.
Anyone have a tacobox with 4.7s in the *front* case? How's your rear case holding up while in low in the front, and high in the rear?
AWSUMDC?
I was toying with the idea of putting triple case's in mine until Marlin spent the weekend at y house and he told me to just put 4.7's in my front case. I told him about the concerns of loading the rear case and he said don't so I won't. There is a Taco with 4.7's in the front case and he has never had any trouble with his and his is an inchworm set up.
I'm getting ready to take my case out of the truck here shortly to send to Marlin to put the 4.7's in it and I have the 4.0 liter in my truck and will be running a 4.7 in it in the near future. I don't think you will have any problems.
