thermostat isn't toyota but is good temp for truck and it never got hot ever. well till headgasket went capooooey
yes, is nice to drive fj again, power and comfort is kinda a cool thing, i forgot what it was like.
fixing the truck with current motor.. i am torn between spending the $$$ and still having a CRAP 22r carb'd engine.... along with fixing all the other problems the motor itself has (bad exhaust manifold, leaky engine, doesn't run right no matter what i do to it, syncros going bad in reverse and 3rd, among other things...) or just spending a little extra after all is considered the 22r needs, getting a junked taco and stealing the motor, etc and then other parts i need (including new seats, ifs steering box, etc...)...
the 22r kills me here with the hills and driving anywhere.... i have to be in at LEAST 3rd gear going up hills on the highway, sometimes 2nd gear....
