The codes I got were 42 for the OD off light and the check engine.
the light flashing means it triggers a code..... the code is then diagnosed as being some problem.....on our durango, i had a code of P0036 ... this code correlates to the computer seeing that the heated oxygen sensor, located on bank 1, sensor 2 -- was showing that the heater circuit wasn't functioning.....
the code isn't that it flashes a light, but directs an issue or part that isn't right
