Thanks for the link! at about what temp do you have it kick on at? what the lowest temp it will activate on?
No idea on the temp. I set it so that the needle stays in normal position and so it cycles on and off at idle (about 20% on time at 80 degrees outside).
It has a very large range. I think it was 100 degrees low, and there was still adjustment left with boiling water (212). Since it's not in the water, but next to the radiator (or fins depending on how you mount it) It would tend to be lower than water temp.
