Looking real good.   One century when I can do half doors I always pictured a little flapp with a storage place such as that.   mostly along the whole bottom of the door so I could at least fit a hoody in there, after all it's cloudy alot in santa cruz.     


The spring idea was genious by the way!

The spring thing.... ...admittedly, that was kinda on accident. When I saw that hinge in bulk I wasn't sure about using it until I thought about it a little better. Then I thought ....aww, what the heck?! So I tried it and it seems to work nicely.
