Where did you get the spacers?
3 solutions I'm aware of.
Return the spacer and get one that's tapered correctly.
Get different lug nuts. (I believe they are called long reach lug nuts)
Buy longer wheel studs.
Good catch, most people just run'em, then wonder why there tire fell off @ freeways speeds.
