The Cruiser is bigger all the way through except it uses the same spline count and diameter at the input flange (after '75?) and the drive axles.

What does this mean?

I have trashed Toy-mini R&Ps, carriers and spiders but have never hurt the axles or pinion shaft.

On the Cruiser diffs I have never been able to break any of the same pieces that broke on the mini.   I've only been able to twist off a couple of the old style course spline (small minor diameter) pinion shafts that were on the earlier cruisers.
