i say remove yours and find out
i know my stock mirrors are actually threaded into the doors themselves, liek a nut welded on in the back, but i have the regular mirrors and not the huge ones, i have seen several trucks with the huge ones look factory though, however yours look like someone might have just used some self tapping screws...
