Set the base timing to 8 degrees from the stock 5 degrees.........

Add 3 degrees to the stock timing (back off if it pings)
Is 22RE stock timing 5 degrees and you recommend 8 degrees that is a 3 degree difference.
It appears that you also recommend 3 degrees advanced from stock for a 22R, but you're not sure what the stock setting?
