Hey all,
Sorry I've been away so long. Its been pretty busy around here.
I briefly read your MRI report, and will have to spend a few more minutes with it than I have now, so I'll try to do that tonight if possible. The one thing I'm seeing is that you have bi-formainal stenosis, which can certainly cause the upper extremity numbness. This can be caused by the accident, but again I need to read it more thouroughly. I'll have to do some more research on the Chiari malformation, but as I recall, it is usually a congenital issue that is found incidently when there is trauma and we start looking around. I think you could make an argument that it can be exacerbated (made worse) by trauma, and make a previously unnoticed condition suddenly symptomatic.
In the mean time, here is something to hold your attention until I can get back on line....
Opps, noticed something that was not supposed to be visible, and I'll have to post something else later. Sorry for the tease
Erik
