your new here  so  before i explode,  i will  tell you,

Trailgear  was born  out  of  a botched business deal,  Marlin was going to be merged  and  it  went bad,  cause  somebody  who now  works  for trailgear did his best to steal MarlinCrawler Inc  from Marlin  the man.

so  to answer your question YES  many have tried it,  I for one  would burn my truck to the ground before i used a TG anything,

the ir  springs  are made from chinese steel  thats  known to sag,

Marlin springs are made from USA steel by a USA company, thats why they are a bit more expensive

You get what you pay for

   Glen never gets tired of telling that story.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE
AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU HAVE AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.
