Any small amount of oil will cause it to slip. Its just the nature of the beast. Is that causing a loss in your mpg? I have no idea. I am putting a 1600 lb stock style Marlin clutch in my DD though. No ceramic for me! Oh, and a Marlin flywheel too, because mine had some nice deep groves in it.
