Re: over heating problems

See the running lean problem has crossed my mind before and i have messed with the mass air flow sensor and its clean and seems to work fine.   The truck runs rich in town and when i get on a trail it thends to runs rich too   but i do understand that a lean running engine will have a possiblity of over heating.. Even before i rebuilt the engine it ran rich as :pokinit:.  i have gone through and checked every thing from wiring to a simple tune up.    i have replace the throttle position sensor if that has anything to do with it.    Also when i rebuilt the engine i didnt replace the water pump cause it spun fine and didnt lock up.  Maybe it took a  :pokinit: from then to now   idk lol    well thanks for the help guys
