For 33 inch tires go with 4.88 gears.  If you plan to go with bigger tires in the future go with 5.29 gears.  I had 33 inch tires with 4.88 and it worked well and now with my 35 inch tires I wish I had 5.29 gears.  Too expensive to change something at this point that works adequately.  You speedo will be nearly perfect with either 33 or 35 with 4.88 gears because the math would put it about 34 inch diameter to match stock gearing.
1989 4Runner: Dual Ultimate (Inchworm front & Marlin 4.70 rear), Marlin Twin Stick, 1200-lb clutch, 4.88 R&P, Aussie Front, Detroit rear, 30-spline Longs, Long hub gears, ARP hub and knuckle studs & 35x12.50 Cooper STT PRO tires.  Marlin rear bumper & sliders.  FROR front bumper.  SAS with Alcan springs & Rancho 9000XL shocks.  Budbuilt Bolt-on traction bar.  Custom Interior Cage by Those Guys Rod and Customs.

Moab Tested & Rubicon Approved
