I was saying this for the reason of being a swap to a 4.3 would of been cheaper.. even with an adaptor to the toy trans.
but like said... youll get plenty of life outta this setup, great work buddy.

Thats the thing though. If I swapped in a 4.3, a new auto would go in with it, and upgraded axles. So that would be very expensive compared to what I am doing now. Knowing me, I would go balls to the wall with the 4.3 rebuild (I am not putting a non-rebuilt motor into my truck) and end up spending like at least $1500. Sure, some people could do it cheaper than my 22re rebuild, but I could not; thats just the way my brain works is upgrade one thing, might as well upgrade the rest while I am at it.
