Depending on which trans you have, if your's is cable driven, you can remove the original gear that's held in with the bolt and plate.
If, like one we just did, it's a 17tooth unit, you can goto the local recycler yard, and start popping speedo output gears, and look for a 18 tooth, or a 19 tooth to replace yours. Play around with the gears, don't force them in, and have a friend motor pace you 'til you find the solution.
Automatics... *This isn't a guarantee though, as some, with auto's, like me, still had to goto a speedo calibration shop for a output unit to overcome the difference due to the fact the gear's usually a AutoSpecific 17tooth.
Kinda like this:

BTW, the math's like this...
(New(Current) Tire Size divided by O/E Tire Size)=%Change
IE: 33/28=1.178...
So if you were doing 60mph, you're now actually going 70. You're off by 9%.
Thus, why mine's a .9123 when using the daily driver 31's and not needed when rolling on 33's.
*Side notes-the reducer actually stops that cable chatter that happens, probaly due to it being filled with gear oil, a cheap harmonic dampener.

**and yes it's a 2wd..but the tech still applies.
