The yellow arrow points to the outer splines that spin freely. The red arrow points to the inner splines that appear to be connected to the side gears and spider gears. I turned the splines so they don't line up so it would show up in the picture better. Might be hard to see. Sorry about the grease, I greased the axle shaft splines during the install.
Is there supposed to be a split there? Seems to be one on both sides of the carrier.
