Go to your Profile, then "Forum Profile Information" on the left hand side, then you can either select an avatar, link to a picture somewhere else on the net, or upload one from your harddrive.
The avatar must not be larger then 150 wide x 150 tall pixels. Check
here for more info on how to resize pictures.
Then just click the "Change Profile" button at the bottom and your set dude!
