you are right. It is stupid. It is much worse than dragging my license plate over rocks because it is mounted to my rear bumper. It is much worse than getting a ticket because I don't have a light over my plate. It is probably the worst mod I will ever make...but it's too late. I didn't do it because it looks cool, it is a function over form thing here, and if you daily drive a modified rig, you have to give and take when it comes to the law.
