Actually, it is legitimate for 4-5PSI of boost.
This is something I'd have to see first hand to believe. I am very familiar with these bilge blowers and know the flow rates, and there's no possible way for anything less than restriction if run inline. These aren't built to build pressure like a turbo or sc, they're simply built to move air/fumes from a confined space. You get more flow with one of those cheap little fans you plug into your cig lighter and place on your dash.
