  Ok call me crazy but you could just order the "Lefty" adapter plate and then use the rest of the parts from Marlin They do sell just the plate and it would seam to be a good choice. IMHO Marlin and Jim both make great products but I am not one to judge for any one but my self. I think that if you put 2 and 2 together you still get an impressive 4x4.
