Yes, the '82 trans would be a great upgrade :thumbs:
Especially if it has the 80 mm front bearing.

Hey Marlin,

How could you know if its a L52? Chances are its a L50 since the L52 was not available until 11/1982. The L50 that the truck most likely had does not have a 80mm front bearing but rather a 75mm input bearing, plus it would have a non-sealed output shaft bearing.
