i drove up to micanopy to take dave a front seal from my toyota parts shed. it seemed to be holding much better than the thin seal the parts store gave him. the seal i gave him was twice as thick as the one he had in there.
He made it as far as almost to Gainesville before it gave up the ghost
He said it had no oil pressure, he's not sure yet if it's the oil pump or the engine.
He called his dad to bring down a trailer and tow the truck back home. Too bad such a fun weekend had to have a crappy ending for him
He will have a full report when he gets back.
