a 289 is the I6 right? i'm not great on Ford stuff but because my friend lives on fords, i'm learning quite a bit. i wouldn't mind putting a cummins turbo diesel or a toy diesel in my truck. or if it would fit maybe a 6.9 or 7.3 powerstroke.
