Here is a binder?scout forum. These guys should be able to answer all your questions. Oh and I think pre 75 scouts ha dana 30 drum brake fronts, and the really early ones may be closed knuckle as stated earlier.

I was able to trade parts and pices enough to come out on the right end of the deal, but I wouldn't bother again unless it was free. Scouts are verry prone to rust too!
