i can see both sides well..but on the law side i would assume it is mainlyfor the safety of others and the ones racing. if you want to race why not go the drag strip and race there? i know thats around and im pretty sure its free or its just a few bucks and you can race whoever you want.... safe and good fun and a way to get on the good side of some po-po that are there so if they pull you over in the street they might be easier on you since they know you went to the drag races and what not.... my
