i tried mix-matchin ecu's after my trans swap... never found a 5-speed ecu that worked... i was told that the auto harness n 5-speed harnesses are different.... so you'd have to get the two wiring diagrams and change the connectors around so all the wires are goin to the right prongs in the ecu plug......

it seems like a pita, so i just drove it with the auto ecu, runs kinda shitty, but it runs..... i have a thread on here and pirate and the only thing ive heard was to piss with the plugs....

but i found a tbi 4.3 for cheap... soooo, fuggit.... chevy power here i come!
