From the beginning, John Partridge [the founder of Advance Adapter] had my name put in the mold next to AA nameplate. Back then, Advance Adapter was sending all their Toyota customers to me because they did not have any salesmen that could figure out the differance in the t-case styles even though I drove to Paso Robles and taught them by self.
This continued until AA begin to realize that going slow with a Marlin Crawler was beginning to be quite popular.
They also begin to realize that they were sending a lot of customers to me and losing the sales as well.
AA then begin to sell the adapters themselves and started pushing the plates to other offroad companies.
I complained because any so called "offroad company" could sell my adapter, so I requested that my name be removed from the mold.
Because the same casting is used on the weaker than stock AA narrow bearing design, and my maximum duty double wide bearing as well, my name was removed from all the castings.
