I live in Big Bear and have been keeping up with the fires in Running Springs and Lake Arrowhead. Both fires are bad. As mentioned, lots of homes burned. Some areas much worse then others. Green Valley Lake, the west side of Running Springs, the west side of Lake Arrowhead are the hardest hit areas as of the last updates. There has been quite a bit of activity on Live Oak throughout the afternoon and evening. Here is a pic I took looking west out of Big Bear today towards the Slide Fire. Hope the best for anyone affected.
