papers are signed, picking it up tomorrow.
it was actually my grandfathers truck... I went over there a few weeks ago to help chop wood and stack it for fires this winter. he's known that i'm in need of a tow rig that can handle long distances with no prob for awhile..
we chatted a bit about the Dodge dealership in this are trying to sale me this 97' for WAYYY to much, he brought up the suggestion of just basically swapping loans with me.
basically told me he doesn't have any use for the truck anymore that its exactly what I need... said he'd like to have my Tahoe just for towing a small trailer around and he wanted to get out of a higher truck payment.
So today we finished signing everything over, turned out being a bit more a month.. but no big deal... insurance went up around $20 a month
Gonna take it for a spin tomorrow after work and get a feel for the way it drives.
