i currently have a 20r with a 22r top with fuel injection... it's a holly TBI setup... i'll post pics soon...
I think it might be possible.  Everyone has heard of the hybrid 20/22r right?  well if an earlier head, such as an 84' set up, why wouldn't that be possible?
because that is a waste of space.  People put a 20R head on a 22R block for the better flow of the head, and the increased bore of the block.  Doing it the other way around is backwards if you are looking for power.  You'd end up with an EFI engine, but one with a small bore, and a head that doesn't flow very well.
