Only reason I am thinking of doing it this way: springs are free.
Good call.... Get them and run them. Just get some 2.5"x2.5"X.25" ID sq tube (i think tube is inside diameter... If not oh well) like a foot and a half or so long, cut it diagnally but leave a little 1 inch space.... you know what ill try to find a picture.
