YES wasn't really soft rock, they are/were more progressive, in the vein of Rush...but you knew that...you were there, man.

Actually...I was around, but not there. I consider both of them to be weenie bands and in the case of Rush...punkass liberal wimp bands.

Hence the wine and brie comment.



EDIT: Perhaps that sounds harsh and closed minded...I realize there are many different musical tastes. I just don't like either of them. That's why there is chicken fried steak...so everyone doesn't have to eat liver and onions!
