No need to apoligize Mike. People have become such freakin' wussies that they want everything to be "Safe" or something. I personally think they are after "stupid proof" because they don't want to responsible for their own stupid actions.
as sad as it is, we've turned into a society of irresponsible, lazy, self centered jerks. As for the cables, I've been up there, I've used them, and not had a problem
they also have "stairs" if you will, boards strung on the granite in the steeper areas to wedge your foot against. I'm sorry, but 9 falls from the cables in the past 25 years, and only 3 fatalities? Thats not bad stats considering the amount of people that use them every year. It is sad, but I'm willing to bet that the people that fell we screwing around, and did it to themselves.
