toyota, all the way!!! hope you stick with the 2.7... i have a buddy who did that swap and he never looked back at me in the rear view with my 22re wen were boming down the beach At poli hale(kaua'i)... not to bad mouth the 22re it served me well, but the 2.7 is definetly in the future for me... plus the stock w56 tranny and t-case holds up to the abuse ,Based on wot i've seen my buddy put his rig through( sand , mud, rocks and roots its all good)
