The bottem end only has around 160,000.
Ken, sounds like I have alot of research to do before ill ever figure out hwo i want to build th motor. What you have sounds just about to my liking though. I would love to drive this truck on the road 2 or 3 days out of the week ya know, without having somebody riding my but becuase i cant top 40 up a hill. And for hunting i need to drive about 30 miles and back(thats what the truck is built for). So i want it to be dependable and act good on the hwy. I think if i go with an EB head, bore it .40 over with brand new pistons and such i shouldbe fine.
what did it cost you to get the motor balanced if you dont mind me asking? Thanks for the help.
