I removed mine because it was becoming a PITA. I had just had it serviced and recharged, the next week went to the Con and was in the Big Sluice all flexed out when there was a loud hissing sound and a cloud out the grill. Thought I broke the radiator but it turned out I cracked the condenser and the cloud was a week old load of R-12. Looked at the wife and told here, "the AC is coming out and I am turning the compressor into OBA".

Then I bought a trailer and a CTD Dodge 2500 and it has not seen the street since!!!!! :clap:
