Re: Air Conditioning Removal

I pulled mine off about five years ago and have had no problems. I use the AC switch to turn on the OBA because it still activates the idle up. Last year I found a 91 in the boneyard that did not come with AC and I took the ductwork so I could remove the inside condenser. My heater seems to work better now without the condenser in there. When I installed the York, a couple of months ago it would not turn on with the AC switch. After a bit of troubleshooting I remembered that I took the amplifier thinge that was on top of the inside condenser box. After tracing the wires out and making a jumper, it works great.re.
