somewhere i was reading that there really isn't all that much you can do to get power out of a 3.slow. but my brother put a jacobs ignition in his and it's a lot better than before. he got a mileage master i believe and his power and mileage went up. but now his battery is a bit over used and he blew his headgasket but that is the 3.slow problem too.
