I find it hard to believe that one religion is right over another and in reality find that thought utterly ignorant.

I would say that there might not be one "religion", but there most certainly is one absolute BELIEF.
Without digging deep, I'll just mention a couple reasons for this:
In the book of Revelation, John speaks of one singular group of people who stronghold their faith and beliefs in the end time, regardless of what is happening around them, and will be the only group of people still alive who will be saved at the 2nd coming of Christ. (Rev. 12:17)
In the book of Acts, Luke mentions time and time again that the believers were together and had all things in common (2:44), the believers were of one heart and soul (4:32), and the believers were of one accord (2:1).
Of course there are countless stories in the old testament of great feats when Gods children were of one accord, and horrible defeats and entire cities lost when His children were not all on the same page. Needless to say, all secular history books have records of these same events that took place in the Bible.
