I don't necessarily believe in aliens but find it hard to believe that we're all that exist. That said I've long said where we may be mistaken is in assuming we'll find other life forms similar in size and appearance to ourselves. Who's to say it'll be in a form we can even recognize?
I'll go with aj on the god subject. I don't believe in god as do religious people. I find it hard to believe that one religion is right over another and in reality find that thought utterly ignorant. I'm not closed to the thought of there being something bigger but nobody can possibly peg it down. Faith is faith and nothing more.
