If you havent brased before I would suggest mig welding it. The brazeing rod is gonna run to the heat of the metal not just where your pointing the torch. Keep about a 2-3 inch space between the torch and the metal heat it slowly until the rod almost melts when it touches the metal where you are trying to braze
